Les-Fest – Scotland’s award winning and only Rock and Metal Festival. This was it’s second year. Held within the Valley International Park, Crossford, Lanarkshire. 28th-30th June 2013.
Evile, Virus and Sarah Jezebel Deva were among the bands that performed at the Les-Fest 2013 festival.
After 3 succesful years, the Les-Fest Festival now, WildFire Festival re-located to a larger site. This has enabled the festival to grow and develop and it will continue to do so in the coming years.
Wiston Lodge is a former Victorian Hunting Lodge built in the 1850's. Less than an hour from Glasgow, Edinburgh or Carlisle and only 10 minutes from the M74 motorway, yet the house and grounds offer a remote rural experience.
Within the 53 acre estate there will be ample camping and parking space, Lodge accommodation, Wooden Cabins and a purpose built Tipi Camp. Wiston has it all and we look forward to welcoming you back to WildFire Festival in 2016
A Review from MetalTalk.net
As such, they are building quite a following from old school Thrash fans and those at Les-Fest were more than happy that the band had chosen this festival to be their only UK appearance in 2013, and as such the assembled mass gave a great reception to the band.
With the dry ice machine switched into overdrive (much to the horror and frustration of the photographers crouched down in the pit I'm sure), the band took to the stage and threw down their intent with a truly astounding performance. From the opening strains of (the instrumental) 'Asylum' to the final strains of 'Lightning War', the band put on a performance that surely must go down as one of the best in Les-Fest's short history. read more
