Al Jordan
Guitarist Alan Jordan was previously with Sy Keeler's MIRROR MIRROR and Funk Rockers FRANKENSTEIN also borne out of Bristol Thrash merchants ONSLAUGHT, both guitarist Nige Rockett and drummer Steve Grice having been members.
Frontman Tony Bryan was ex-TOKYO and RHODE ISLAND RED whilst FRANKENSTEIN supported SAXON on their 1992 British tour and were, in fact, managed by ex-SAXON producer Pete Hinton.
ONSLAUGHT resurrected itself in 2005, announcing a touring partnership as part of the December 2005 'X-Mas' festivals in Europe ranked alongside EXODUS, OCCULT,KATAKLYSM, UNLEASHED, BEHEMOTH, and PRIMORDIAL. Joining guitarist Nige Rockett, drummer Steve Grice, vocalist Sy Keeler and bassist Jim Hinder would be guitarist Alan Jordan, ex-MIRROR MIRROR, RHODE ISLAND RED and FRANKENSTEIN. A debut gig for the rejuvenated act was put in for 25th November at their old haunt the Fleece & Firkin in Bristol.
In 2006 ONSLAUGHT teamed up with NAPALM DEATH for two shows in Greece in January.
Al Jordan's also performed with ONSLAUGHT at the Bloodstock festival in the U.K. on the weekend of Sept. 30, to be followed by an appearance at the KEEP IT TRUE FESTIVAL in Germany on November 4.
Al Jordan then recorded his excellent guitar skills on ONSLAUGHT's fourth studio album, "Killing Peace', released in February on Candlelight Records.
"Killing Peace" was recorded at Backstage studio in Derbyshire, England with producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE, MACHINE HEAD, EXODUS).
After his departure Al Jordans main riff on the track GODHEAD was kept when ONSLAUGHT recorded the fifth studio Album SOUNDS OF VIOLENCE although there is no mention on the album.
